A small collection of practical engineering tools is gradually being added here. The focus is on geotechnical engineering, deep foundations and technical software applications. New tools will be added whenever time permits and are provided free of charge.

The following tools can be used directly in the browser. Settings are stored locally in the browser so that recurring inputs do not have to be entered repeatedly.

Pile Geometry

Rotationally Symmetric Pile Layout beneath Silo Foundations as a Preliminary Geometric Arrangement Proposal

This tool generates a preliminary geometric arrangement of piles beneath circular or annular foundation slabs, including ring sequence, pile schedule, graphical representation and export functions.

Interactive training tool for comparing nearest-neighbour, linear and shape-preserving cubic interpolation on a sample geological layer boundary.

  • Add, move and delete exploration points directly in the graphic
  • Show or hide the layer boundary, deviation areas, area tables and legends
  • Export project JSON and SVG or PNG graphics locally

BIM / IFC

IFC 3D Viewer for Basic Model Review

The IFC viewer loads IFC files locally in the browser and shows a 3D view with model structure and properties. It is intended for quick checks and simple model review.
