Engineering expertise and software in one place

BIM in deep foundation engineering – precise, efficient and built for practice.

HYLLA stands for sound geotechnical and structural engineering, powerful software and a direct, solution-oriented approach to demanding questions in deep foundations. Our core focus is pile design, BIM-based workflows and digital tools that do more than simply replicate conventional planning.

We combine engineering judgement with robust software architecture. The result is a set of solutions that perform reliably in real projects, produce economically strong outcomes and remain easy to understand for users.

Services

A highly specialised office that remains approachable and easy to work with.

We aim to make complex deep foundation questions easier to access. Clients, designers and users should be able to reach robust answers quickly – technically precise, clearly communicated and always grounded in practicality, economy and constructability.

Deep foundation engineering

Design and assessment of foundation systems with a strong focus on pile foundations – safe, transparent and closely aligned with built reality.

BIM for deep foundations

Digital workflows that connect geometry, design logic and planning information in a consistent and project-ready way.

Software development

Tools for AutoCAD, Excel and web environments that automate demanding design tasks in a reliable and efficient manner.

Software

Products built for consistent and economically optimised pile design.

Our solutions are designed to handle complex design spaces efficiently. For each load point, users can define the maximum number of piles permitted and the admissible diameters. Based on these constraints, the software automatically identifies the most economical design.

DHPM – BIM extension for AutoCAD

DHPM supports BIM-oriented planning processes in deep foundation engineering directly within the familiar CAD environment. The tool connects model data and engineering tasks in a clear, dependable workflow.

DHPD – Excel plugin for pile design

DHPD is built for fast, structured design work. Boundary conditions can be defined directly, alternatives can be compared safely and economically optimised solutions can be generated without unnecessary manual effort.

piledesigner.io – Online solution

The web-based version is intentionally reduced in scope, but it still goes beyond many standard approaches in one key respect: it allows all piles of a structure to be designed in a single run for both lateral and axial loading.

Economic efficiency with measurable impact

Optimised pile layouts do not only reduce material and cost. Compared with conventional standard designs, the daily CO₂ savings are approximately equivalent to the emissions of a combustion-engine passenger car driving once around the globe.

Technology

All piles of a structure analysed in one consistent design process.

While many standard tools treat load cases in a more isolated way, our approach is deliberately centred on the structure as a whole. This creates solutions that are especially valuable in practice: transparent, efficient and optimised with respect to both cost and resource use.

  • Combined treatment of axial and lateral loading
  • Automatic identification of economical variants
  • User-defined limits for pile count and diameter at each load point
  • Suitable for structured use in digital planning workflows

“We do not just want to calculate. We want to make deep foundations understandable, economical and digitally manageable.”

That attitude shapes both our engineering services and our software products. Working with us should feel technically demanding in the best sense, yet also clear, supportive and straightforward.

Outlook

3D subsurface modelling

We are currently developing a further project in the field of 3D subsurface modelling. The section is prepared as the next step and can later be expanded with a dedicated link.
