2. Hosting
This website is operated by an external hosting provider. When the website is accessed, technically required data may be processed, including IP address, date and time of access, requested content, browser type and operating system. Processing is carried out for the technical provision and security of the website.
3. Server log files
The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. This includes in particular IP address, browser type, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer and the time of the server request.
4. Contact requests
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process your information for the purpose of handling the enquiry and any follow-up questions. Data will not be shared without a legal basis.
5. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use consent-based cookies, tracking tools or marketing technologies.
6. Online tools and local storage
When online tools are used, the values entered by the user may be transmitted to the server so that the calculation can be carried out and requested export files can be generated. These inputs are not used to create user profiles, are not evaluated for tracking and are not intentionally stored as project files on the server. Processing takes place technically for the respective request; server log files may be created as described above.
Some tool settings, for example recently entered values, display options or export options, may be stored locally in your browser using localStorage. This keeps the settings available for later visits on the same device and in the same browser. These locally stored data are not automatically transmitted to third parties. You can delete the local settings in the relevant tool using the “Delete local settings” button or via your browser settings.
In the IFC viewer, the most recently loaded local IFC file may also be temporarily stored in the user's browser for the current calendar day. This allows the same IFC file to be shown again when the viewer is reopened or when switching between the German and English views. The file remains local in the user's browser and is not stored on the HYLLA server by this function. On the next calendar day, the general start model is loaded again unless a new IFC file is selected.
7. Fonts and external resources
No fonts are loaded from external servers. The website uses only locally available system fonts of the respective device.
IFC Viewer
The IFC viewer uses open-source libraries hosted locally on this website for 3D display and for processing IFC files in the browser. The required JavaScript and WASM files are loaded from this website; the IFC viewer does not request these libraries from external providers. The selected IFC file is processed locally in the browser and is not permanently stored on the HYLLA server by the tool.
8. Your rights
Within the framework of applicable law, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability.
9. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority regarding the processing of your personal data.
10. Encryption
If the website is accessed via HTTPS, data transmission is encrypted.

This privacy notice is tailored to a slim website without analytics or marketing services and includes the use of simple online tools with local browser storage.
